The fun way to choose a name for your baby. Play with a partner, vote on names, get a list of names you agree on.
The Baby Name Game is a fun way for you and your partner to think about names for your new baby. Potential names are randomly chosen and shown to each of you, and you get to rate them. The game collects your ratings, and can later show you which names you agree on or disagree on.
To play the Baby Name Game, you must have the app installed on two devices. To get started, launch the app on one device, and choose "New Game". You will see a screen which gives you a four-digit code for the game. On your partners device, launch the app and choose "Join Game". Enter the four-digit code, and your partner will have joined your game
Once the game has started, you may enter a last name by clicking on the "Last Name" text. This will allow you to view the suggested names with some context. You may also choose whether you want to boy names, girl names, or both (if you do not yet know the gender of your baby).
Both you and your partner will be presented with the same name. Think about the name, then choose Like, Dislike or Neutral. Once your partner has also made a decision, a sound indicating how well matched you are will play, and both of your choices will be displayed on the screen. Then the game will move on to the next name.
At any time during the game, you may click on the "Results" button at the top of the screen. This will temporarily pause the game, and will allow you to view all of the names that have been voted on, with the results for each one. You may also view these results at any point after the game, by clicking on the "View Past Games" button on the first screen of the app
